DETERMINISTIC STRUCTURAL DIFF
JSON Diff Tool
Compare a baseline JSON document with a candidate. Review added, removed and changed paths, ignore known volatile fields, and export the report. Both documents are parsed locally in your browser.
COMPARE TWO SNAPSHOTS
Baseline and candidate JSON
Each document is limited to 2 MB. Arrays are compared by position; key order in objects is ignored.
Ignore paths use JSON Pointer syntax, one per line, such as /request/id. An ignored path excludes its nested values too.

How comparison works
Objects are compared by property name and arrays by index. Numbers, strings, booleans and null values compare by their parsed JSON value. Object key order does not affect the result. Ignore rules use JSON Pointer paths and match that path and its descendants.
What this tool does not decide
A changed field is not automatically a defect or a breaking change. The tool does not know your API contract, client behavior, business rules or field sensitivity. It does not make network requests or execute either JSON document.
- JSON numeric values are parsed using JavaScript numbers, so integers beyond the exact IEEE 754 range may lose precision.
- Array order is significant; arrays are not matched as unordered sets.
- Large documents are rejected above 2 MB, and the displayed diff stops at 1,000 changes with an explicit notice.
