Compare two saved response envelopes by status, headers and JSON body. Paste captured responses or load local files; the tool never calls either API.

Baseline and candidate envelope
Provide a JSON object with a numeric status, a headers object, and a body value. Each document is limited to 2 MB.
Header names are normalized to lowercase before comparison. Ignore paths use JSON Pointer notation.

Comparison contract
This tool compares files you captured elsewhere. It does not send requests, authenticate, test latency, validate business correctness or decide whether a response change breaks a client. Headers are compared as values after lowercasing header names; status codes compare numerically; body objects use structural JSON comparison.
Limitations
- Only JSON response envelopes are supported by this tool.
- Array order is significant and JSON numbers use JavaScript number precision.
- Review all changes against the API contract and consumer tests.
